How to write a project manager resume
01
Size every project
Budget, team size, number of sites and timeline tell a reader how much you can handle. Put them in the first half of the bullet.
02
Put certifications where they're seen
PMP and Scrum certifications are common filters. Add them to your headline or summary as well as a certifications section.
03
Show how you handled a problem
Every project hits trouble. A bullet on a risk you caught or a recovery you led says more than "managed timelines".
04
Check what a tracking system sees
Before you apply, run your finished resume through the free ATS resume checker to see the exact text a parser pulls out, and fix anything that comes out scrambled.
